Here is a set of stamps from Laos, commemorating the 1984 Olympic games. I'm really into the illustration style, reminiscent of movie posters from the same era.

Here is a poster designed by the great Seymour Chwast, he of Push Pin Studios fame, to promote magician Doug Henning's televised recreation of Harry Houdini's infamous stunt. This went down December 26, 1982.
