Philately Fridays: Egypt, 1978

Mattel Electronics' Horse Race Analyzer

I stumbled across this 1979 handheld device / game / gambling assistant in a flea market a few months ago. Had to share it here for the beautiful graphics. That horse race icon is too perfect.

Philately Fridays: Algeria, 1967

Philately Fridays: The Netherlands, 1973

Two great Dutch graphic stamps from 1973. If anyone knows what these were made to commemorate, say the word.

Celebrating 125 years of German railways. Pictured here is The Adler, the country's first steam locomotive which debuted in 1835 and traveled between Nuremberg and Fürth.

Philately Fridays: Bulgaria, 1971

Wishing you peace in the new year!

Designed by the incomparable Stefan Kanchev.

Philately Fridays: United Nations, 1976

Philately Fridays: Canada, 1971
