Pinball Hall of Fame

I was in Las Vegas over the weekend and didn't miss the chance to visit the Pinball Hall of Fame. Here are a few photos (please excuse the poor quality - all I had on me was my cell phone) of their enormous collection of games in excellent condition.

PInball Fever: Far Out

Let's take a look at a stunner of a Gottlieb-produced pinball machine from 1974. I give you... FAR OUT!

Pinball Fever: 4 Square

Here's a great looking pinball machine from the always hot Gottlieb. It's 1971's "4 Square." Game design by Ed Krynski. Artwork by Gordon Morison, who was responsible for creating the art of nearly 150 different pinball games for Gottlieb. After putting in his time for Gottlieb, Morison was still working up to 80 hours a week doing freelance art and advertising projects up until his death in 2000.

Pinball Fever: Jive Time

Here's another pinball machine I'm obsessed with. The only one I've ever seen in real life was in... Jive Time Records in Seattle.

Pinball Fever: When Spanish Eyes are Smilin'

Aside from being a big fan of classic video games, I'm also a big fan of pinball machines. They kinda go hand in hand. I'll start to show some of my favorite pinball machines on here, so I might as well start with what might be my all-time favorite. 1972's "Spanish Eyes" was originally released in a smaller quantity as "Granada" but with very similar, practically identical, artwork. It's a great mix of art deco, '70s funk, and subtle Spanish flair. If anyone knows about a copy for sale in the Twin Cities area, please HOLLER.
