Check out this great logo for a supply store in North Carolina called Aids:
Compare it to one of my favorite hand-related logos from We'll Clean Car Wash in Chicago:

Once again I sit back and let Aaron Draplin do all the hard work, wait for him to drop a few crumbs off the table, and then re-post them on my blog. Here are a few highlights from his recent trip to scour the flea markets and thrift stores of Spokane WA.

Caught this link on the one Aaron Draplin's blog. More than worth a read if you've never checked it out. Aaron posted a link to a site housing more classic international bank logos than you'd ever know what to do with. Here are some of my favorites:

Super nice 7" design from Curtis Mayfield and Impressions colleague Eddie Thomas' fantastic soul label Curtom Records, home to The Staple Singers, Baby Huey, Donny Hathaway, and of course Curtis himself.

Aside from being a big fan of classic video games, I'm also a big fan of pinball machines. They kinda go hand in hand. I'll start to show some of my favorite pinball machines on here, so I might as well start with what might be my all-time favorite. 1972's "Spanish Eyes" was originally released in a smaller quantity as "Granada" but with very similar, practically identical, artwork. It's a great mix of art deco, '70s funk, and subtle Spanish flair. If anyone knows about a copy for sale in the Twin Cities area, please HOLLER.
