This stamp commemorates the 200th anniversary of Universidad Central de Venezuela. Still not 100% sure what the geometric design is supposed to represent. Any ideas?
Hi! I don't know what the geometric shapes represents but I know this stamp was made by a group of graphic designer (Gerd Leufert, Nedo, Alvaro Sotillo and Santiago Pol) in that period (1976 aprox) they together created a serie called "la nueva estampilla venezolana". This stamp belongs to this serie.
