40 Jeux Pour Jouer a Plusieurs
Here's a gorgeous French children's book from 1977 which doubles as a collection of board games. The stylish illustrations by Luis Camps and Gérard Greé neatly compile people, places, things of all sorts into grids, paths, and other game structures.

Hebrew Dictionary
My good friend Samantha loaned me this awesome chidren's Hebrew-English dictionary, so I shot a few photos for the blog. I love the simplified but stylized illustrations. Published in 1981, the book features illustration work from Dror Ben Dov, Yossi Gelbart, Alona Degani, and Esther Kurti.

Sendin' this one out to my man the Groove Merchant
...comin' through with beats books for which I been searchin'.
Extra special shout out to the one Cool Chris who hooked me up with this great children's book while I was in his store over the weekend. Written and illustrated by John J. Reiss in 1974, the book introduces basic shapes and shows some larger forms to be made from them, all hosted by a band of friendly forest critters.
