BOOZE

Note: I originally posted images from this book in November 2009, but then added additional images in February 2014. Boom!

Expo 67 Official Guide

Here are some highlights from the official guidebook to the 1967 World's Fair held in Montréal, Quebec. The book belonged to my grandparents, who picked it up at the fair. Lots of beautiful architectural drawings, logos, and illustrations to enjoy here.

I recently came across a copy of this children's book from 1967, written by Jan Wahl and expertly illustrated by the great John Alcorn.

Philately Fridays: Cuba, 1967

Loving the subtle grooviness of this stamp from Cuba, commemorating their participation in the 5th Pan American Games. The distinctly Cuban color scheme and funky illustration style goes nicely with the clearly Canadian Games logo.
